![]() Michelle Harrison-Lee is an experienced Relate Certified Counsellor and counsels at Bromley Relate as well as at her practice in Greenwich, London. As an MBACP Accredited Counsellor/ Psychotherapist of the British Association for Counselling & Psychotherapy, Michelle is bound by its Ethical Framework for Good Practice in Counselling and Psychotherapy and subject to the Professional Conduct Procedure therein. She has trained as a couple counsellor, obtaining a Graduate Certificate in Marital and Couple Counselling and she has taken a Relate Post Graduate Diploma in Couple Therapy validated by the University of East London. She holds a Pilot certificate in Therapeutic Mediation (2006-07), validated by the Relate Institute at University Centre, Doncaster College and currently also works in addressing Homeless Prevention as a Therapeutic Mediator (as commissioned by Local Authorities throughout the UK). Her continuing professional development has included further study in Domestic Violence, Adult Survivors of Sexual Abuse, and working with issues relating to Mental Health and Affairs. She is currently undertaking a PGDip in Relationship Therapy – Clinical Supervision – at the Relate Institute, University Centre, Doncaster College. Her theoretical approach makes use of the psychodynamic model and the systemic model. Her method of therapy can be short or long term.
